CQ Hotels Wellington is a finalist in two categories of The New Zealand Tourism Awards 2016. The categories are: Business Excellence (annual turnover more than $6 million) and also Tourism Industry Champion Award (Olivier Lacoua, GM).

The Wellington Gold Awards in association with The Dominion Post are the Wellington Region's annual celebration of business. In 2016, CQ Hotels Wellington won a Wellington Gold Award in the Team Gold Category. The Team Gold Award recognises an organisations investment in people, wellness & HR programmes.

CQ Hotels Wellington the proud winner of two awards at the recent 2016 NZSL Awards held at Te Papa. The awards were Accessible Service Award and also the Employer Award.

In 2015, CQ was the winner in the ACC Employer Award category in the 2015 Attitude Awards. The national awards celebrate the excellence and achievements of Kiwis living with disabilities.
